Activity Assistant – Assisted Living

Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Must be flexible and available to work weekends and evenings

We're seeking a creative, compassionate, and energetic Activity Assistant to help plan and lead engaging programs for residents in our vibrant Assisted Living community. If you enjoy bringing joy, laughter, and purpose to others, we'd love to meet you

Responsibilites

• Plan, organize, and assist with group and one-on-one activities tailored to resident interests and abilities.
• Encourage resident participation to support socialization, mental engagement, and emotional well-being.
• Support and accompany residents on community outings and during special events.
• Prepare and maintain activity areas ensuring materials are ready, spaces are welcoming, and events run smoothly.
• Decorate common areas for holidays, seasonal events, and themed programs.
• Collaborate with the Activity Director and assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in an assisted living or long-term care setting is required.
• Prior activity or memory care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, creative, and enthusiastic personality with a sincere desire to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings for planned activities and events.
