We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy. This includes supervising warehouse staff, optimizing workflows for receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping, and maintaining inventory integrity. You will play a critical role in implementing and enforcing company policies, safety regulations, and best practices in logistics and operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and supply chain dynamics. A key focus will be on fostering a culture of safety, ensuring all team members understand and utilize proper PPE and safe lifting techniques. Your leadership will drive operational excellence and contribute to our company's success.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse associates to achieve performance goals.
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximize productivity.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe material handling.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Coordinate with other departments and external logistics providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
- Analyze warehouse data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Handle escalated operational issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting and sustained physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong knowledge of WMS, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational improvements.
- In-depth understanding of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to handle frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely.
- Commitment to promoting a safe workplace culture, including the mandated use of PPE.
- Must possess the physical stamina for a demanding warehouse environment.
