Quality Manager Software (m/f/d)

We are looking to strengthen our team in Bamberg as soon as possible:

(limited to 1 to 1.5 years)

Do you have a keen eye for detail and want to ensure that software solutions work exactly as they should? Then the position of Software Quality Manager (m/f/d) could be just the right challenge for you! In our dedicated team, you will work closely with the development teams and play a central role in quality assurance.

The position can be full-time or part-time (at least 30 hours/week).

• Planning and carrying out manual software tests to ensure the functionality and user-friendliness of our COSIMA editorial system
• Creating, managing and evaluating automated tests
• Deriving test scenarios based on user stories and creating specific technical test cases
• Developing acceptance criteria in coordination with product management and project development
• Participation in the development process from concept to installation
• Evaluation and documentation of test results in close cooperation with the agile development team
• Supporting the DevOps team in analyzing and reproducing software errors and providing test data in a cloud project for a corporate client

• Qualification: Completed studies in the field of (business) informatics or comparable training with IT/software reference
• Alternatively: Career changer, e.g. from the field of technical documentation, pedagogy, UX, IT support or with editorial experience, with a penchant for detail orientation and a willingness to familiarize yourself with software processes
• Experience: Professional experience as a software tester desirable
• Advantageous: Experience with test execution tools such as Zephyr Scale and QF-Test
• Nice-to-have: Experience with XML-based content management systems or basic knowledge of XML
• Working style: Structured, independent way of working and good communication skills
• Motivation: Enjoy working in a dynamic DevOps team and a technologically exciting, challenging environment
• Languages: Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
