Join our team as an Inventory Clerk in Kansas City, Missouri, and contribute to the backbone of our supply chain operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are precisely recorded and updated. This is a vital position within our logistics network, directly impacting order fulfillment accuracy and operational efficiency. You will conduct regular cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and assist in reconciling stock levels. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid understanding of inventory management principles. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly beneficial. Safety is our top priority; therefore, all associates are required to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety protocols diligently. This role involves physical tasks, including some Lifting of items up to 50 lbs, and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, proactive, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Update inventory records in the WMS.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory movements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and use of PPE.
- Support logistics operations through accurate inventory data.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with inventory management software.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical dexterity and occasional Lifting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
