Senior HR Generalist
Position Purpose:
Support all aspects of HRM including recruiting, new hire on-boarding, HRIS administration, associate relations, associate training, benefits administration, and positive associate engagement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform job duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines including OSHA and EPA.
- Assists with the development and administration of programs, policies, and guidelines to help align the workforce with company strategic goals.
- Process bi-weekly payroll ensuring compliance with company policy and accuracy of time reported.
- Administer FMLA leave and disability requests.
- Participate in investigations when associate complaints or concerns are brought forth.
- Carry out responsibilities in the areas of associate relations, HRIS administration, new hire orientation, associate training, recruiting, and benefits administration.
- Participate in the development of department goals and objectives.
- Assist with the implementation of the performance management system that includes performance development plans.
- Manage the recruiting process for exempt and non-exempt associates using standard recruiting and hiring practices.
- Partner with management in the communication of HR policies, procedures, programs, and regulations.
- Coordinate the hosting of special events and social activities as necessary.
- Coordinate communication meetings, newsletter and other communication tools.
- Coordinate visitors and associate travel as needed.
- Follow all aspects of the site Environmental Policy as it pertains to normal job duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, & Abilities:
Qualifications – Required:
- 10+ years of experience in the HR field
- HRIS knowledge
- Knowledge of benefits administration and payroll processing.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is required.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-cultural, team-oriented environment.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Qualifications - Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or related field with 3-5 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment
- ADP and HRIS systems knowledge
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-CPS, PHR, or other certifications
- General knowledge of benefits administration and payroll processing

Additional Responsibilities:
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel
- He employee must occasionally lift and/or more at least 10 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Employees are able to engage in regular floor walks, travel between buildings for meetings and investigations.
Supervision:
- This position reports to Human Resource Management and will have significant working relationship with Companies Associates.
