$120,000-$150,000 (potentially $160,000 if candidate is exceptional)

Job Summary:
As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with customers to understand their data needs, design effective solutions, and ensure smooth implementation for long-term success. This role is ideal for a problem-solver with strong technical skills and a passion for making data work in real-world applications. If you excel at translating complex requirements into practical outcomes and thrive in collaborative, client-facing environments, you'll fit right in.
Candidates with experience in data engineering, data analysis, data management, or similar fields are encouraged to apply-especially those interested in transitioning into a customer-facing role.
Key Responsibilities
Gather requirements from new and existing clients to define and design necessary data integration processes Implement new data integrations, ensuring solutions are maintainable and adhere to established best practices Plan and estimate data engineering work for projects and ensure deadlines are met Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders, including Project Managers, Solution Consultants, and Data Management teams, to ensure seamless integration and deployment Provide excellent customer support and clear communication throughout each project Requirements
Proficiency in SQL (required) Hands-on experience with cloud data technologies, preferably Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks) Experience working directly with external clients or internal business units to gather requirements and provide technical support Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills, including troubleshooting and resolving data quality and integration issues Ability to manage project tasks independently, take ownership of deliverables, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Extra Points If You Have
Experience with Microsoft SSIS, SQL Server, and Python Prior experience in a customer-facing role Background in data engineering, data integration, data analysis, ERP consulting, or related fields Procurement domain knowledge
