Professional Dog Groomer

We are seeking a dedicated Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, compassionate handling skills, and proficient skills and knowledge of multiple breed cuts. You MUST have at least 2 years of experience in a busy Groom shop or Boarding/Daycare environment.

• Grooming and bathing dogs according to specific instructions
• Gentle handling and confident skills with dogs during bathing and grooming procedures
• Cleaning and maintaining bathing equipment and work areas
• Proficient knowledge of grooming specific breed cuts, de-shed and de-matting skills, blow-drying, trim nails, with dremel or other as needed, express anal glands.
• Monitoring pet behavior for signs of stress or discomfort

• Experience in animal care or handling is preferred
• Ability to lift heavy pets when necessary
• Familiarity with kennel or veterinary assistant duties is advantageous
• Comfortable working with various types and temperaments of dogs
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to pet care

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $1, $2,500.00 per week
