Truck Driver

Overview
This role is an overnight position with Amazon Relay.

• Shift start times vary from Midnight to 3:30 AM, with end times between 4 AM and 11:30 AM.
• The route covers Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
• Compensation starts at $700 per week for a five-day schedule and increases to $750 per week after three months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience driving a Box Truck.
• Possess a clean driving record and provide a copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Hold a valid DOT physical card.
• Candidates must be at least 28 years old.
• Must reside near Fayetteville, GA.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Truck Driver with a valid driver's license.
• Familiarity with various truck equipment, including pallet jacks, load bars, straps, etc.
• Ensure that cargo is properly secured to avoid damage during transportation.
• Promptly report any vehicle maintenance requirements or safety issues.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and delivery driver responsibilities.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive 26 ft box trucks, ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods.
• Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
