Sales Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. We have two retail locations located inside Fashion Show Mall, and the South Premium Outlet Mall. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of retail sales, and the ability to engage customers through product demos and upselling techniques. This role involves assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining merchandising standards, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse clientele. The Sales Associate will play a vital role in creating an inviting store environment and driving sales growth. Commission pay structure, the more you sell the more you can make.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
• Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits
• Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining attractive product displays
• Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales opportunities
• Manage cashier duties including cashiering, basic math calculations, and handling returns or exchanges
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory counts
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations
• Assist in supervising or mentoring new team members if applicable

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments preferred but can train the right individuals.
• Strong communication skills and phone etiquette for engaging with customers both in person and over the phone
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and POS transactions
• Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and cashiering duties efficiently
• Bilingual skills are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively
• Supervising experience is desirable but not required; leadership qualities are a bonus
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in fast-paced settings
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if needed
