Custom Cabinet Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Installer to join our construction team. This role involves installing custom cabinetry in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring precise fit and finish according to project specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, and fixture installation, with the ability to read blueprints and work effectively on various job sites. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of skills in woodworking, remodeling, and finishing.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom cabinets according to blueprints and schematics
• Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical plans to ensure accurate installation
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation as needed
• Assist with related tasks such as caulking, sealing, and finishing for a polished final appearance
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of installations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites
• Heavy lifting of cabinetry components and materials as required for installation

Skills

• Proven experience in cabinet installation or related carpentry fields such as trim carpentry or framing
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and fabrication techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Knowledge of construction estimating, remodeling, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical experience, plumbing, masonry, roofing, siding, drywall repair/restoration industry experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and best practices
• Experience with water damage restoration or mold remediation is advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project challenges
• Heavy lifting capability and physical stamina for demanding installation tasks
• Additional skills such as stucco application, rebar installation, metal stud framing, or CNC fabrication are beneficial but not required
