Bartender / Host

Position Overview

This hybrid role combines bartending and hosting responsibilities. You will be the first and last impression for many of our guests and welcoming them in, managing reservations and seating, crafting cocktails, and ensuring a smooth, polished service experience throughout the night.

Flexible Schedule with required Fridays & Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Bartending Duties

• Prepare and serve classic and house cocktails, wine, and beer to Verdant standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
• Follow all alcohol safety and responsible service guidelines
• Engage with guests professionally and knowledgeably about drinks and menu items
• Handle bar tabs and POS transactions accurately

Hosting Duties

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists
• Coordinate seating with servers and kitchen to maintain proper flow
• Answer phones and assist with basic guest inquiries
• Maintain a clean, welcoming host stand and entry area

Qualifications

• Previous bartending and/or hosting experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol
