2nd Shift Supervisor

We're looking for a 2nd Shift Supervisor to join our team This position requires hands on leadership, coaching, and teamwork.

The primary duties include overseeing and directing activities of the machine/assembly operators, ensuring a safe work environment, and producing quality products.

Responsibilities Include:

• Supervise 30-45 employees
• Coordinate manpower and scheduling requirements.
• Organize and assign work to meet production schedules by ensuring associates have the necessary knowledge, training and tools to carry out duties and responsibilities.
• Be knowledgeable about each product, quality requirements and associated data collection and documentation requirements in order to support associates responsible for manufacturing products.
• Be knowledgeable about the Quality System and documentation requirements.
• Identify training needs for associates.
• Provide coaching and counseling for associate issues and concerns including interpretation of company policies and procedures.
• Interface with Quality, Warehouse, Purchasing, and other functional areas as needed.
• Ensure safety of the shift team by promoting safe work practices, good housekeeping and by enforcing safety guidelines.
• Lead shift team efforts for the continual improvement of production processes and safety.
• Assists in the Operation of assigned machine(s) in accordance with all safety, production, and maintenance instructions.
• Works as a team player to ensure the success of the shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
