JOB SUMMARY:

JOB SUMMARY:
The Product Owner is integral to the success of CorroHealth and the Product Management team.  They are responsible for addressing customer's business requirements by gathering, analyzing and documenting customer needs and market drivers.  This person serves as a functional requirements liaison to all internal and external stakeholders. They insure smooth coordination between requirements specification, conceptual design, implementation, testing, and deployment.  They keep customers and internal stakeholders fully informed, helping them understand solution capabilities and benefits.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Product Owner  will play a pivotal role in driving the success of CorroHealth's revenue cycle management solutions. This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare operations, particularly revenue cycle management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing product requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Location: Remote within US only Travel: 5% (on occasion to our headquarters in Plano, TX for training/team building or to visit Client Sites) PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Product Vision:
  • Develop and articulate a compelling product vision for RCM solutions that aligns with the overall business strategy.
Product Backlog Management:
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize a well-defined product backlog, ensuring a clear roadmap for the development team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and clinical operations, to define and refine product requirements.
User Story Writing:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify user needs and write clear, concise, and testable user stories.
  • Prioritize user stories based on business value and technical feasibility.
  • Refine and update user stories as needed throughout the development process. 
Agile Methodology:
  • Champion Agile methodologies (Scrum) to drive efficient and iterative development processes.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings to ensure transparency and accountability.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical staff, finance teams, and executive leadership.
  • Effectively communicate product vision, progress, and challenges to diverse audiences.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Utilize data analytics to measure product performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models that enhance RCM processes.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI and healthcare technology.
  • Drive a culture of innovation and experimentation to continuously improve product offerings.
  • Ensure individual compliance with all privacy and security rules and regulations and commit to the protection of all Company confidential information, including but not limited to, Personal Health Information.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Bachelor's degree in related field - required
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • 5+ years of product management.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in a healthcare or technology company.
  • Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, including natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics.
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred CDI experience and RCM/healthcare experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with healthcare IT systems, such as EHRs and RCMs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in healthcare.
  • Experience with data engineering and data science tools and techniques.
  • A passion for using technology to improve healthcare outcomes.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to remain stationary 80% of the time, operate a keyboard.  Must be able to exchange accurate information with clients and co-workers in a clear audible speaking voice and hear normal speech.  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is required. Team Member may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
