Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fiber Technician to join our team. This role is essential to our fiber optic

infrastructure projects, focusing on site preparation and temporary fiber line installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform whitelining operations at project locations to mark proposed fiber routes and

identify potential obstacles

  • Lay and install temporary fiber optic lines according to project specifications and safety

standards

  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal routing paths

  • Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion

of installations

  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including route maps and

installation records

  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company

policies

  • Identify and report any issues or concerns encountered during installation

  • Perform quality checks on completed work

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in fiber optic installation, telecommunications, or related field

preferred

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions

  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and

working outdoors in various weather conditions
