Role Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure across SVCV Partners and its portfolio. This role is critical to ensuring reliability, security, and scalability of mission-critical systems and will work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and/or Azure

Build and maintain scalable, highly available systems

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent

Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Monitor system performance, uptime, and cost optimization

Implement cloud security best practices, access controls, and compliance standards

Support application teams with cloud architecture and deployment strategies

Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and lead incident resolution

Maintain clear documentation of cloud architectures and operational procedures

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role

Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Strong understanding of networking, security groups, IAM, and VPC design

Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting fintech, investment, or data-sensitive platforms

Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)

Experience with multi-region, global infrastructure

Cost optimization and cloud financial management experience

SRE or reliability engineering background
