Job Description
We are looking for experienced and motivated candidates for the Software Quality Assurance Lead in the Infotainment Software Group. The selected candidate will help successfully build, lead, and manage a functional and technical QA team with a strong sense of quality ownership. This role demands highly developed tactical and strategic skills as the QA lead is expected to participate actively in the continual improvement efforts.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Build an effective QA team, mentor the team and efficiently manage the resources to support the projects and ensure the quality delivery
- Guide and provide feedback on team member's performance and behavior
- Support EGM on hiring process with acquisition of new talents
- Define test strategy and test plan based on software development plan for the projects
- Work with the team to design detailed test cases and setup the test environment
- Develop test tools and test scripts to automate the testing
- Prepare test report, provide initial issue analysis, and contribute to defect prevention
- Participate in the continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies
Required Skills And Experience
- 10+ years of software quality assurance or test experience in mobile or automotive industry, 3+ years of experience in testing Android code, 3 years as a Scrum lead, Product owner or Team Lead
- Solid knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and tools
- Strong experience with test automation framework (e.g.: Robot Framework / Appium)
- Programming skills in common languages, such as Python, JAVA
- Knowledge of Scrum/Agile software development process
- Knowledge of connectivity technologies
- Experience with vehicle communication network protocols (CAN, Ethernet) as a plus
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills to motivate the teams, work efficiently and deliver on time in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, coordination skills, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field
Compensation:
The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington
- Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is: $125,000 - $191,700 Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
