This Program Management role develops, manages and executes complex projects and large-scale programs, driving strategic change and delivering sustained value across these guiding principles for Global Biopharma Manufacturing.  The scope includes, but is not limited to, overseeing a portfolio of network-wide continuous improvement projects, supporting broader PGS and Pfizer programs and leading key strategic efforts. 

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Collect and analyze and synthesize input from leaders and stakeholders to find high-potential project opportunities
  • Collaborate with leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define goals, priorities, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with business strategies
  • Lead project teams to ensure effective development and execution of project scope, timelines, quality standards, and benefit realization and mentor program managers in these areas
  • Develop, implement and maintain a consistent management framework and structure to monitor and report progress, ensuring accountability and guiding decisions
  • Connect individual projects to the overarching mission, vision, and strategy of the organization
  • Identify and manage interdependencies between projects and controls overall program risks
  • Coordinate and prioritize resources (people, budget, tools) across different projects for maximum efficiency
  • Ensure the collective outcomes of projects deliver tangible benefits and improvements for the business
  • Create synergies and replicate learnings where possible, delivering greater overall value and accelerating improvements through coordinated initiatives
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across all project and program teams, leveraging constructive relationships throughout the network

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred with at least 12 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 10 years of related experience; OR PhD with 7+ years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of program/project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing complex, cross-functional portfolios
  • Proven experience in end-to-end project & portfolio management and executive stakeholder engagement
  • Strong understanding and application of program management methodologies
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication (written/verbal) skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, structured thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels including senior leaders
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated and results-oriented with a focus on delivering value and driving continuous improvement
  • Exceptional presentation & facilitation skills with an ability to succinctly present messages
  • Evidence of innovation and continuous improvement mindset

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):

  • Professional certifications in project management
  • Proficiency in use of operational excellence methodologies (lean six sigma, innovation) to solve site and network business challenges
  • Knowledgeable of Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx)
  • Experience coaching and developing people at various levels of the organization
  • Independent, quick learner with a curious & lifelong learner mindset

Work Location Assignment: Hybrid

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $162 900,00 to $261 000,00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20,0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
