Who We Want
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations in a fast-paced environment, whether it be in a restaurant, hotel, or banquet setting.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Help with bussing tables during busy service periods to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Support the culinary team by keeping the kitchen organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic culinary skills is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards related to food handling is beneficial.
