We're looking for a skilled, hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement on the shop floor. If you enjoy solving complex problems, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and making a direct impact on production performance—this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Lead improvements across all manufacturing stages: burning, bending, machining, welding, assembly, and finishing
Conduct time studies and methods analysis to boost manpower utilization and throughput
Partner with production teams to evaluate performance and implement meaningful improvements
Support plant layout initiatives, material flow studies, and workstation optimization
Recommend and implement enhancements to material storage, process flow, and facility layout
Provide design‑for‑manufacturing feedback that reduces cost and complexity
Prepare cost estimates for prototypes and new product introductions
Improve routing, BOMs, and work instructions for clarity and accuracy
Support lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Train and mentor employees on best practices in manufacturing engineering
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting
Knowledge of heavy‑equipment fabrication, metal forming, CNC machining, and mechanical assembly
Strong skills in workflow analysis, time studies, and process improvement
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities
Ability to prioritize work independently while keeping leadership informed
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Experience with robotic welding programming and troubleshooting
CNC programming, welding processes, and tooling design experience
Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing data management
