Are you ready to be a key player in our St. Louis, Missouri logistics operations? We are hiring an Order Picker to ensure our customers receive their products accurately and efficiently. As an Order Picker, you will navigate the warehouse to locate and retrieve specific items from inventory according to customer orders. This role requires precision, speed, and a strong commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy. You will utilize tools such as RF scanners and operate equipment like pallet jacks. Safety is a top priority; adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices, is mandatory. This position offers a great opportunity to develop essential skills in the fast-paced world of logistics and contribute to a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or RF scanner instructions.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product damage.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and protocols.
- Utilize required PPE at all times while performing duties.
- Follow safe lifting guidelines to prevent injury.
- Support the broader logistics team with additional warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts.
- Commitment to safety and the use of PPE.
