This position requires a sharp analytical mind, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and supply chain principles. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances, working with relevant departments.
- Manage and optimize stock levels to ensure product availability and minimize carrying costs.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory shrinkage and damage.
- Generate reports on inventory accuracy, turns, and other key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure inventory alignment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
- Proficiency in WMS and other inventory management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
