We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join our logistics team in Denver, Colorado. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials within our warehouse facility. Your duties will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport inventory, and assist with stocking and order picking. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation, a keen understanding of warehouse safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires vigilance and precision to ensure the integrity of goods and the safety of personnel. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure seamless operations. We maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety, making the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety procedures non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload pallets and other materials from trucks and into warehouse storage.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to and from designated areas.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated locations, ensuring stability and safety.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and logistics.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned when not operating a forklift.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA compliant).
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Understanding of logistics operations.
- Commitment to using PPE correctly and consistently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
