Our fast-paced fulfillment center in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking dedicated Fulfillment Associates to join our team. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders, from picking and packing to shipping. This role is crucial to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the smooth flow of our e-commerce logistics. You will work in a dynamic environment, requiring attention to detail, speed, and a strong commitment to safety. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques, is paramount. We value teamwork and a proactive approach to maintaining an organized and productive workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for various carriers, applying appropriate labels and documentation.
- Receive and put away incoming inventory, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Utilize proper lifting techniques when handling packages and inventory.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Contribute to team goals and overall fulfillment center efficiency.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, including the use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
