We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and timely fulfillment of orders. You will work closely with warehouse staff to maintain an organized and productive work environment. Adherence to all safety regulations and company policies is paramount. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse logistics and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric, propane) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory accurately and efficiently.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Understand and adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
