We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator to join our busy logistics hub in Phoenix, Arizona. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other machinery to move, stack, load, and unload materials within our warehouse. Your expertise in safe and efficient forklift operation is essential for maintaining workflow, ensuring inventory accuracy, and preventing damage to goods and property. We are committed to maintaining the highest safety standards and expect all operators to be diligent in their practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Stack and stage materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by moving and documenting product locations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Commitment to safety, including consistent use of PPE.
