We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders. This position requires a keen eye for detail, efficient work habits, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. Your primary responsibilities will include picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving and stocking incoming inventory. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, proactive, and eager to contribute to the success of our operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with physical tasks, including significant lifting, and will always prioritize safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Stock received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent bending, stooping, and significant lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of required PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
Working Conditions:
This role operates in a warehouse environment that may experience temperature fluctuations. Consistent lifting and physical exertion are required. Safety is paramount, and all associates are expected to follow strict guidelines regarding material handling and the use of PPE.
