Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a Warehouse Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and minor repairs of warehouse equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. You will play a key part in supporting our overall logistics operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring our machinery operates efficiently. This position requires a technical aptitude, a strong understanding of safety protocols, including the use of PPE, and the ability to perform necessary physical tasks, including Lifting.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, conveyor systems, pallet jacks).
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and the warehouse environment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working order and properly maintained.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Follow safe Lifting guidelines when handling parts or equipment.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations and logistics teams to address equipment needs.
  • Keep the maintenance area clean and organized.
  • Identify potential hazards and report them immediately.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and the use of PPE.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various warehouse conditions.
  • Basic understanding of logistics operations is a plus.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications are a plus.
