Our Nashville, Tennessee location is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our **Logistics** team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, performing audits, and implementing improvements to inventory control procedures. Ensuring accurate inventory levels is paramount to our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. A strong commitment to **Safety** is essential, and you will be expected to follow all **Safety** protocols and utilize appropriate **PPE**. While not as physically demanding as some roles, this position may involve some **Lifting** and requires a methodical and analytical approach to tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Perform audits of inventory data and physical stock.
- Identify root causes of inventory issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement and refine inventory control procedures.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Adhere to all **Safety** regulations and utilize required **PPE**.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations and **Logistics** teams.
- Assist with **Lifting** of inventory items when necessary for counting or relocation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory control or a related **Logistics** role. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to perform basic **Lifting** up to 30 lbs. Knowledge of warehouse **Safety** procedures and **PPE** is required.
