Customs and Border Protection Officer Job Overview

This role involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations while facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel. You will be responsible for conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States, and preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.

1. You must undergo a paid pre-academy orientation followed by 101 days training at FLETC in Glynco GA where you'll learn basic law enforcement skills, firearms training among other key areas.
2. The officer should have experience in specialized fields such as inspecting cargo/bags/merchandise or enforcng import/export laws & regulations or have an educational background equivalent to that.
3.
