Retail Sales Associate

Job description

We are hiring a part time store cashier/clerk within our Adult Outlet store located in Endicott, NY. We are looking for professional candidates that are looking to deliver great customer service. This is a retail position with daily tasks consisting of interacting with customers, stocking, cleaning and any other tasks assigned by the store manager/district manager. Candidates must be able to lift at least 50lbs and stand for long periods of time (8 hours). If interested, please forward your resume.

- THIS JOB WILL ENTAIL ONE 8 HOUR SHIFT PER WEEK -

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in finding and purchasing products
• Maintain a clean and organized store, including restocking shelves and arranging displays
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers using key product knowledge
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers

• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide support as needed

• Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts

Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized sales floor
