Optometry Practice Manager

Oversee the everyday operations of an optometrist's office , including scheduling, supply management, and vendor relations. Strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills are essential for this role. Understanding of financial management, inventory control, healthcare billing/insurance, and other business-related aspects is helpful.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations: Managing day-to-day tasks, office organization, and systems.
• Staff Management: Hiring, training, motivating, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Financial Management: Budgets, expenditures, billing, collections, and maximizing revenue.
• Patient Experience: Streamlining scheduling, improving communication, and handling patient concerns.
• Inventory & Technology: Managing optical inventory, equipment, and utilizing practice management software (EHR/PMS).

Essential Skills & Qualities

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Financial acumen and understanding of healthcare billing/insurance.
• Proficiency with optometry-specific software.
