Night Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in phone systems, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Coordinate and schedule transportation for products, ensuring timely delivery and efficient routing.
• Utilize GPS and GIS technology to monitor vehicle locations and optimize routes.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, coworkers.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year experience in transportation, dispatching or logistics required
• Familiarity with phone etiquette and effective communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• On call and weekend coverage rotation
