Electrician / Apprentice (Multi-Year)

Hicks Lightning Protection is currently looking to fill the need of Journeyman / Apprentices for job-site location near El Paso, TX . Ideal candidate will be local, but possibility for per diem incentive. The Electrician will be working closely with our field Superintendents and responsible for the following:

• Assist with the installation of lightning protection and electrical systems in accordance to shop drawings and current code requirements
• Communicate with project managers, superintendents and other company employees in every facet of the job
• Willingness to travel a minimum of 50% of the time, including possible air travel
• Other duties may be assigned
• Minimum of 4 years electrical experience
• General construction knowledge required
• experience with cad-welding
• must be able to read basic ground drawings
• Understanding/ability to utilize basic hand and power tools
• Basic math skills required
• Valid driver's license, with minimum of one years' experience
• Good oral and written communications skills
• Ability to pass company and job-site background check and drug & alcohol test requirements
• Ability to work well with others, as well as individually - self-perform
• Ability to stand up to 10-12 hours
• Ability to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds and roofs
• Requires physical strength and stamina
