Bartender/Cocktail Server

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beverages, and food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage tabs seamlessly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through excellent time management skills during busy shifts
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events including banquets, catering functions, or nightclub nights
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; communicate needs promptly to management

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations gracefully
• Solid understanding of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol service regulations
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling with accuracy
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal requirements and responsible beverage service practices
• Familiarity with catering events, food industry standards, retail math concepts, brewing processes or restaurant operations is a plus
