We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations, drive performance, and uphold the standards that make Koy a premier dining destination.

Applicants must have prior restaurant management experience. This is a mandatory requirement and is not negotiable. Candidates without restaurant management experience will not be considered.

Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff performance, maintaining financial controls, and driving consistent growth and profitability. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a hands-on management style.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Hire, train, develop, and lead a high-performing team
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
  • Manage schedules, payroll, labor costs, and inventory
  • Monitor financial performance, control costs, and increase profitability
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and company standards
  • Implement systems to improve efficiency, quality, and team culture
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly
  • Drive marketing initiatives and local store growth strategies

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of proven experience managing a restaurant in a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or equivalent leadership role (mandatory requirement)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of restaurant operations and financial management
  • Ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and cost controls
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead by example
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
