Warehouse Janitorial Associate

Summary: We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Warehouse Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility. This role is responsible for cleaning restrooms, lunchrooms, warehouse areas, and exterior/parking lot spaces. When cleaning tasks are complete, this position will also assist with general warehouse support, including operating a forklift as needed.

This is a hands-on role that helps ensure smooth warehouse operations and a professional environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and restocking supplies.
• Clean and maintain break rooms and lunch areas (tables, floors, trash, appliances).
• Sweep, mop, and maintain warehouse aisles, walkways, and common areas.
• Empty trash/recycling throughout the building; replace liners and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean office entryways, high-touch surfaces, and shared spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of the exterior and parking lot areas (trash pickup, debris removal).
• Assist with organization and cleanliness of warehouse storage areas, racks, and staging zones.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.

Warehouse Support

• Operate a forklift safely to move pallets, supplies, or waste bins as needed.
• Assist warehouse staff with general labor duties when cleaning is completed.
• Support special projects such as reorganizing areas, deep cleaning, or seasonal tasks.
• Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or needed repairs promptly.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial, warehouse, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and stay productive.
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs as needed and work on your feet for most of the shift.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Work Environment

This role works indoors and outdoors in a warehouse setting. Exposure to dust, forklifts, and general warehouse activity is expected. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided as needed.
