Oakwood Care and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic team. This position will be open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified.

Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and/or Med Tech

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Lakewood, CO

Shifts: Day and night shifts available

Pay: $25-33 per hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist ressidents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in patient conditions, and report findings promptly to nursing staff.
  • Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation using Point Click Care (PCC).
  • Ensure infection control protocols are followed diligently, especially in settings involving infectious disease care or Level I Trauma Centers.
  • Support emergency response efforts by performing basic life support (BLS) and assisting in urgent or acute care situations including ICU or trauma center scenarios.
  • Engage with Residents in a professional and caring manner.

Qualifications

  • Valid CO CNA License
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient safety standards including HIPAA compliance.
  • Prior experience with specialized care areas such as memory care, behavioral health, geriatrics, or post-acute/sub-acute settings is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting patients safely with equipment like Hoyer lifts.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people with disabilities or developmental challenges.
