ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Creates Jobs through the ERP System accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Checks job material shortages and coordinates with the warehouse to backfill materials.
  • Ensures jobs are created and back-scheduled correctly to meet production timelines.
  • Works with the Production Manager to ensure materials are dispositioned correctly in the QMS/ERP system and are returned to stock efficiently.
  • Processes Job amendments and BOM changes per the ECN/DCO process and ensures the job traveler is updated accordingly.
  • Ensures a smooth flow of materials from the warehouse to the production line.
  • Supports continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives within planning and production.
  • Ensures all production and planning documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Assists with compliance to safety, quality, and company policies in all activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a production coordination, planning support, or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong practical experience and proficiency with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to administrative and system-based tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively between warehouse, production, and management teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a focus on process accuracy and flow.
