What Does A CBPO Do?

  • Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations

  • Facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing illicit activity

  • Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to determine admissibility into the United States

  • Promote national security by preventing entry into the country without proper authorization or inspection
