We are looking for an experienced
Azure DevOps Engineer
to join our team on a
12-month fixed-term contract , supporting the delivery of secure, scalable digital services within a
Central Government environment . This role is well suited to someone who is comfortable working in regulated settings, has strong DevOps fundamentals, and holds
active SC clearance .
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and secure deployments
Support cloud infrastructure and environments, with a focus on
Microsoft Azure
Work closely with developers, architects, and delivery teams to embed DevOps best practices
Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC)
Monitor, maintain, and improve system performance, availability, and security
Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and environment issues
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards required for government projects
Active SC clearance
(must be current)
Proven experience working as a
DevOps Engineer
in complex delivery environments
Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
Experience working on
Central Government or highly regulated projects
Comfortable working in agile, multidisciplinary teams
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Hands-on experience with
Microsoft Azure
(preferred)
Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
