Facilitate in the efficient operation of assigned projects and provide clerical services for ESC programs, projects and specialists.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One year office experience or equivalent training.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Proficient skills in typing, word processing, file maintenance
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient skills in Office Suite
  • Ability to use computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases and word processing
  • Basic math skills
  • Driver's License

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Sort and distribute incoming correspondence and publications.
  • Maintain physical and computerized records, reports, and correspondence in organized filing system.
  • Prepare correspondence, forms, reports, and documents and properly route.
  • Place and receive telephone calls, take reliable messages and route to appropriate staff
  • members.
  • Prepare workshop and meeting materials and supplies.
  • Maintain project expenditure records.
  • Requisition materials and supplies.
  • Assist specialists in workshop scheduling, set up, and close out.
  • Keep informed of and comply with ESC policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidential information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Personal computer, printer, scanner, FAX machine, copier, calculator, typewriter, telephone

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Prolonged use of computer
  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision

ENVIRONMENT

  • Maintain emotional control under stress
  • Repetitive hand motions
  • Prolonged use of computer
  • Work with frequent interruptions
