Job Summary

We are hiring reliable and hardworking Fry Cooks / Buffet Cooks to join our Hartz Chicken Buffet location in La Marque. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on kitchen work and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Prior kitchen experience is a plus, but training is provided for the right candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fried chicken and buffet items according to company standards
• Maintain buffet line by refilling food and ensuring freshness and presentation
• Monitor fryers, food temperatures, and cooking times
• Assist with prep work, dishes, and general kitchen cleaning
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Work closely with teammates to keep kitchen operations running smoothly

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Willing to handle cleaning duties and dishes as part of daily tasks
• Dependable and punctual for scheduled shifts
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours
• Kitchen or fast-food experience is a plus, but not required
