Custodial Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodial Associate to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Duties

• Perform routine cleaning and restocking of restrooms in a high volume environment
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, etc to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Able to perform facilities maintenance tasks including unclogging, minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors
• Support special projects such as deep cleans or event setup as needed

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services preferred
• Knowledge of high paced environments
• Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments highly desirable
• Ability to perform residential painting or basic maintenance tasks is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions accurately

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
