Duties

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipe specifications and menu requirements
• Assist in food preparation for daily service, including assembling dishes and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station, adhering to strict food safety protocols
• Support kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks, ensuring timely delivery of ingredients for meal assembly
• Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
• Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and filling out order sheets
• Contribute to menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and prep needs for upcoming menus

Skills

• Background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchen experience that highlights knife skills and meal assembly expertise
