Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Prep Cook / Back-End Support team member to assist with food preparation, organization, and kitchen flow. This role is critical to keeping the kitchen stocked, clean, and ready for high-volume service. Ideal candidates take pride in preparation, cleanliness, and supporting the line team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to Dapper D's recipes and prep standards (meats, vegetables, sauces, etc.)
• Label, date, rotate, and properly store all prepped items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep and storage areas
• Support line cooks by keeping stations stocked during service
• Assist with dishwashing, trash removal, and general kitchen upkeep
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code requirements
• Receive and organize deliveries as needed
• Communicate prep needs and shortages to kitchen leadership

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to follow recipes and prep lists accurately
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
