Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with mobility and transfers of patients - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Assist with medical procedures and treatments - Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients - Document patient information in medical records accurately and timely Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a nursing assistant training program or equivalent experience - Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures - Experience in acute care, nursing homes, pediatrics, hospitals, or other healthcare settings is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Skills: - Proficiency in using computer systems for medical records management - Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols - Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care - Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) usage and maintenance This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential support to patients and healthcare professionals.
