OFFICE OF THE SUPERINTENDENT

SCHOOL YEAR

OPEN POSITIONS

Job Title: Extended Term Substitutes: SCIENCE TEACHER

Reports To: Building Principal/ Supervisor, or other administrator if needed

Effective date: 03/11/2026

Salary Range: $ $190.00 per diem depending on certification level and length of assignment.

Position Summary: The above extended term substitute position is available for the school year.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 Middle School Science Certificate or other Science Certificate required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: See attached Job Description

Technology Skills: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline Applications, and Student Information System.

Evaluation of Performance: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy.

Terms of Employment: Per diem pay
