ABOUT MFUSED
Mfused is a high-growth cannabis manufacturing company built by operators, not spectators. We design, produce, and scale cannabis products in one of the most regulated and financially complex industries in the United States, where precision matters, margins are earned, and mistakes are expensive.
This is a company for people who move with urgency, think critically, and take ownership. We value thoughtful strategy, but we reward execution. Cannabis does not operate like traditional industries. Tax treatment is different. Banking is harder. Cash management requires discipline. Compliance is constant. That reality demands finance leaders who understand the rules, the risks, and how to win anyway.
As we scale, we are investing heavily in financial discipline, visibility, and control. We are building a finance function that supports growth without losing rigor, agility without losing accuracy, and speed without losing compliance.
Mfused is not a finished product. It is a company in motion.
THE ROLE
The Financial Controller is the backbone of Mfused's financial integrity.
This is not a passive accounting role. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for owning the day-to-day accounting operation while ensuring the company can scale responsibly in a highly regulated cannabis manufacturing environment.
You will report directly to the Vice President of Finance and work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, company co-founders, and senior leaders across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of execution and strategy, translating complex financial realities into clear, decision-ready insight for leadership.
This role is critical to Mfused's next phase of growth. As manufacturing operations scale and financial complexity increases, the Controller will bring tighter discipline, stronger visibility, and scalable controls that allow the business to move quickly without breaking.
This role carries meaningful decision-making authority across accounting operations, internal controls, and close discipline, with direct access to executive leadership when judgment calls are required.
In cannabis, accounting is strategy.
