Job Overview
Fab Werks is a leader in steel fabrication that takes pride in manufacturing quality products and servicing its customers in various industries. We have state of the art equipment used for laser cutting and forming carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, and galvanized materials. We are looking to expand our operations team with a skilled CNC Laser Programmer that has experience in metal fabrication.

Duties

• Ability to work with 3D (SolidWorks) and 2D (AutoCAD) to engineer laser cut parts for manufacturing and ensuring the production of high-quality finished parts.
• Interpret customer-supplied drawings with keen attention to requirements, tolerances, and notes.
• Reverse engineer parts for manufacturing.
• Utilize Work Orders, drawings, written and verbal instructions to determine job requirements.
• Program and maintain current file revisions of all client parts.
• Adjustments to drawings based on revisions, tolerances, and operator feedback.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications as needed.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a programming position, pay based on experience.

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software for designing and modifying parts.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of fabrication techniques and welding processes.
• Ability to use precision measuring devices.
• Experience with Mazak Lasers and Nesting Software (SigmaNest) is a plus.
