Job Description – Senior Project Manager – AWS Cloud Migration

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the AWS Cloud Migration program from the client's side.
• Coordinate closely with the AWS ProServe team and ensure consistent progress on client-side activities.
• Provide end-to-end program governance, reporting, stakeholder updates, and issue resolution.
• Lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and escalate blockers proactively.
• Interface directly with client stakeholders, internal Virtusa teams, and third-party vendors.

Required Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Program/Project Management, with minimum 4+ years leading AWS Cloud Migration project in enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of AWS services, cloud infrastructure, networking, and migration methodologies (e.g., rehost, replatform, refactor).
• Prior experience collaborating with AWS Professional Services teams (including AWS MAP).
• Strong track record working on enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills – must be able to manage C-level stakeholders confidently.
• Highly tenacious, organized, and delivery focused.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate/Professional Certification
• PMP / PMI-ACP / SAFe Agile certification

Pay: $ $41.00 per hour
